Krysta Sá (b. 1988 Toledo, Ohio) is an American artist working in images and designed experiences.
I am interested in the limits of “self”. My work is makeshift and process driven, making connections to: mysticism, purging, body mechanics, illness, compulsion, sensations, family, insides, medicine, porn, the occult, alternative health, reality tv, spa culture, ancient science, minerals, possession, therapy, celebrity, cinema, and celestial bodies. I also teach at a small university in Ohio and design ceremonial events.
